Larry Bird

LarryBird

My favorite Celtics Player is Larry Bird, also nicknamed "Larry Legend" and "The Hick from French Lick," was widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players, shooters, and fierce competitors in NBA history. When he played his entire 13-year career as a forward for the Boston Celtics, he was the defining face of the league during the 1980s alongside his career-long rival, Magic Johnson. Remarkably, Bird is the only person in NBA history to win Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player, Finals MVP, All-Star MVP, Coach of the Year, and Executive of the Year.
